ERO Powhiri

Tamariki from Te Ao and Kapa Haka awhi mai Whaea Louise with the powhiri. Great karanga from Te Ihiko, Gina W and Tiamoana T and great waiata lead by Tiamoana, Trinity, Gina, Te Ihiko and tamariki from Firth Kura.

2014 - Te Ao

We will be covering Waahi tapu - places sacred to Maori in the traditional, spritual, religious, ritual or mythological sense.

2014 - Te Reo

This term we will be covering Greetings and Te Marae.

Greetings will be  - Tena Koe (hello to 1), tena korua (hello to 2), tena koutou (hello to 3 or more). Ata marie/Morena (Good morning), Ahi ahi marie (Good afternoon), Po marie (Good night)

We have a Marae visit happening in Week 8 so this will be covered over the next 7 weeks Marae kawa (protocol).
